This is a Pinot Noir from Rendez-Vous which is I assume named after the 1941 French comedy film. The wine is from Languedoc-Roussillon of the South East of France, just west of Provence. This area is mostly known for their blends of Syrah, Grenache, Mourvedre, and Cariganan. I’ve actually never seen a pinot, let alone one variety from this area.

Overall this wine bland and basic. The two flavors I picked up on were green pepper and some sort of tart fruit, maybe cranberry.
