This is a basic Malbec, as opposed to a reserve Malbec. The wine comes from San Juan Vally of Argentina which is mostly known for its Syrah and Malbec varieties.

Regarding the wine itself, it has very little nose. I only picked up minor hints of red fruit. The dominant flavor and nose is red plum. It’s a typical Malbec with a medium tannin and body structure. This wine also had a very short finish.
