South African wine from South Africa. This is a blend of 6 different varieties from the Stellenbosch region which is in the Western Cape province.

They don’t tell you what the actual grapes are, but from some googling I found it was 30% Pinotage, 30% Cabernet S, 26% Merlot, 9% Shiraz, 3% Pinot Noir and 2% Cinsaut.

This was full bodied and rich wine with blackberry and plum notes. Maybe a bit of licorice.
