From the Mondoza region, specifically the city of Luján de Cuyo.
This was a 2017 vintage, and was a blend of Malbec, Pinot Noir, and Bondarda. I’ve never heard of Bondarda, which is Charbono in California.
On the palate is a combination of both chocolate and fruit flavors including cherry, blackberry and currant.
Very long finish but as it suggests as much in its name, very silky tannin feel to this wine.
