This is located in eastern France, just outside of Switzerland. I don’t know the name, but picked it randomly. It was my first meal in France, ever, and was a bit nervous ordering considering I don’t speak French. Yet its not Paris, and the staff was warm and friendly.

I told the waitress to bring what they were eating at the table next to me. House red, steak with a sauce, French fries and vegetables. Steak was remarkably soft and the sauce was some house sauce. It had mustard and maybe some sort of sharp cheese, like Parmesan.
